A large part of the artistry and cinematography celebrated in In the Mood for Love is the use of framing within a frame by Wong Kar-wai. This technique is used to denote certain themes and feelings to the audience. I wanted to reflect this conceptual and aesthetic decision in the title design, using the frames of the English credits to frame the subject.
